Malibu, Meet Us Courtside
This December, the Veolia Malibu Showcase is bringing the Carvana PPA Tour to Pepperdine University Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center for professional pickleball, amateur competition, ocean views and plenty of courtside energy.
Why Go?
This is more than a few matches.
If you already love pickleball, this one's for you. If you have never picked up a paddle, this might be the week that changes that.
The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) is coming to Malibu, bringing a full week of competition to Pepperdine. From amateur and junior matches to the pros, semifinals and Championship Sunday, there will be plenty happening on the courts.
Ralphs-Straus sits right on Pepperdine’s Malibu campus, with the Pacific Ocean just beyond the courts.
Choose Your Own Adventure
Watch it. Play it. Make a day of it.
Come to watch
Grab a grounds pass, settle in courtside and see professional pickleball up close. The pro rounds begin midweek and build toward Sunday’s championship matches.
Come to play
This is not just for the pros. Amateur brackets are organized by age and skill level, giving players the chance to get on the courts and be part of the action during event week alongside the professional competition.
Bring the family
Junior clinics and programming are also part of event week, making it a fun outing for families with younger players who are getting into pickleball.
Beyond the sidelines
Want to be a little more involved? The event also offers hospitality, pro-am experiences and volunteer opportunities for anyone looking to get closer to the action.
A Familiar Face
You’ll find Madison courtside.
Pickleball / Tennis is already a part of Madison’s Malibu life. As a player and enthusiast himself, he will be attending the Veolia Malibu Showcase and taking in the action throughout the event.
If you are planning to go, keep an eye out for a familiar face. We would love to see clients, friends and neighbors out there enjoying it with us.
For Local Businesses
Bring your brand to the courts.
Local businesses, brands and anyone with something special to bring to the event can apply to be part of the week through PPA partnership and hospitality opportunities.
We would love to see Malibu represented off the courts as well, from food and wellness to retail, hospitality and lifestyle. It is a great opportunity for local businesses to be part of the energy surrounding the event and connect with the community.
Interested in joining in? Vendor applications are due November 27.
